Come out and bring the kids, family or that special someone to Crystal Bay Farm Pumpkin Patch. For over 16 years Jeff and Lori Fiorvich have created a wonderful tradition for neighbors near and far. Not only are they one of the only you pick Organic Strawberry farms in Santa Cruz County, but by October they have grown harvested and gathered together over 40 different varieties of edible pumpkins and squash from every corner of the globe! I'm lucky enough to get to participate with my JamStand up stocked with goodies and many tasty samples! Jeannie's Artisan Jams is becoming a family favorite in these parts with my spicy pepper jellies, berry jams and crazy flavor combinations like vanilla Spiced Pear Butter, White Peach Lavender & Raspberry Rhubarb to name a just a few. Hello Jam Fans! For the past few months I've been working hard getting re-stocked with my handmade micro batches of delicious jams, jellies, marmalades and chutneys. So come out and visit my JamStand Saturdays & Sundays at the corner of Seabright Avenue & WIndham Street 11-6pm about a mile from the beautiful Seabright Beach and Natural History Museum. This Satuday I will have a professional face painter for the kids and many Sundays Eve from Bijou Beads will be selling her beautiful jewelry and crystal pieces. Local bread makers & gluten free bakers, are also invited to share there creations with the neighborhood and pair with my jams. It's that time of year again! Time to get out and enjoy the weather and start getting ready for gardening and dream the epic tomatoes and fruit harvests. For ten years  now I have been lucky enough to participate at Love Apple Farms' annual heirloom tomato seedling sale, the birthplace of Jeannie's Jams and the beginning of my jam stand. Not only will you be able to pick from my entire selection of over 60 flavors of jams, fruit and pepper jellies, marmalades and chutneys, but you can now do so 3 days a week April thru June (or while tomato supplies last). Love Apple Farms and Ivy's Porch are open Wednesdays and Saturday 10-5pm and Sundays 11-4pm. I will be offering samples tastes Fridays- Mondays thru June. I'm so excited about participating again at this year's craft fair at the Boulder Creek Rec Hall. It's a great time with live music, local artisans, bake goodies, face painting and loads of mountain fun! So come rain or shine and feel the love the locals have to offer. As usual I will have my JamStand stocked with your favorite flavors (and some new ones too) made from locally sourced ingredients and farmers. My Blackberry Merlot Jelly, Strawberry Cabernet Jelly and Fig Merlot Jam are laced with holiday cheer from my favorite local wine by Dancing Creek Winery or try one of four flavors of Heirloom Tomato Jams or my indescribable Bengali Spiced Tomato Chutney made from Love Apple Farms prize tomatoes. My Strawberry Jam flavors like Strawberry Balsamic Fig, my epic Sugar Pie Pumpkin Butter and my lovely Quince Jam & Jelly creations would not be the same without harvests from Crystal Bay Farms nor would my Persimmon Jam, Vanilla Spiced Pear Butter, Curried Apple Chutney be as delightful without the reverent fruits grown by Casalegno Family Farm. Try some of these at the fair! It's that time of year again- time to stock up on delicious Jeannie's Artisan Jams for holiday gifts, stocking stuffers and sweet treats to keep you fired up during the cold winter months. I've got over 60 varieties of freshly hand made artisan jams, jellies chutneys and marmalade- something for everyone on your list! This holiday season I'll be doing the Craft Fair rounds as usual but this year I'll be doing two very special POP-UP Jam Stands to promote local businesses like in front of The Water Store in Scotts Valley (in King's Village Shopping Center) on Black Friday November 23 & the wonderful Ivy Company Modern Resale consignment store in Capitola for Small Business Saturday on November 24.
