Starting Saturday March 17th I'll be joining Love Apple Farms Heirloom Tomato Plant Sale at their new retail greenhouse location Ivy's Porch, a pretty garden space in Scotts Valley specialing in antique garden decor.  Every Saturday, Sunday and Monday I'll have my JamStand stocked with an exciting selection of over 60 varieties of handmade jams, jellies, marmalades, & chutneys. Try one of my new creations like Cara Cara Orange Vanilla Bean Marmalade, Pineapple Crystallized Ginger Jam, Curried Apple Chutney, Kiwi Preserves, Strawberry Chardonnay Jelly, and many more!.

Artisan Jam Making Workshop: Marmalade & Wine Jelly at Dancing Creek Winery

February 25, 2012  10:00am-3:00pm

Join me Saturday February 25th from 10-3pm for my new class at Dancing Creek Winery  Learn the Art of making Marmalades and how to use special ingredients to create artisan flavors. We will cover several different methods of preparation using a variety of citrus fruit. Students will learn have a hand in creating the preserves they will take home to share with friends and family. As a bonus we will make wine jelly with Dancing Creek Wines as well as learning how to incorporate wines/spirits in our creations. Sangria Marmalade anyone? Or some delicious Grapefruit Vanilla Bean or Brandied Blood Orange Marmalade .
The winery's kitchen is well designed for teaching allowing for a more intimate learning experience. After class we will enjoy our own private wine tasting- you'll love Dancing Creek's award winning wines and Jeannie's Artisan Jams h'orderves for snacking! There'll be a mini version of my JamStand and Dancing Creek Winery's finest for sale too.

On The Road Again In November with Jeannie's Artisan Jams

It's that time of year again. Time to load up my little car with my entire Jam Stand and hit the road  and I'm off to spread the word about Jeannie's Artisan Jams!

After a great weekend at the Crystal Bay Farm Pumpkin Patch November starts with the Scotts Valley Craft Fair Sat & Sun November 5 & 6 from 9-4pm at the Scotts Valley Community/Senior Center the ever popular and long running annual craft show returns with over 50 talented vendors selling hand-crafted wares. Check out my Jam Stand outside. They'll have delicious food, bake sale and a raffle. Saturday is Farmer's Market so you can pick uo some local produce while you're there.

Saturday November 12 from 12-4pm join me at Dancing Creek Winery Release Party. Enjoy the winery's lastest releases paired with delectable tastes like pulled pork and polenta, or a smoky black bean soup w/ cilantro cream. While you're there you can do a little holiday shopping-- gift items will be available from local artisans like Jeannie's Jams, Plays with Fire Designs, Judy D'Alessandro's Wine Stoppers, and more.

If you're up in the mountains don't miss the Boulder Creek Rec Hall's Art & Craft Sale November 12 & 13 Sat & Sun 10-3:30. Local artists, music & baked goods. As usual it should be great fun with great mountain people!

Saturday November 26 12-6pm, at Center Street Grill and Community Bridges Holiday Gift Show. Beautiful and unique gifts from local vendors. The restaraunt will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner too! I'll have my Jam Stand in the atrium so stop by and have a taste before or after your meal or coctail and stock up on my limited edition flavors, they're going fast!!

Since meeting farmers Jeff & Laurie Fiorvitch of Crystal Bay Farm the marking of harvest season wouldn't be the same without visiting their amazing pumpkin patch. HALLOWEEN festivites commence right on the farm with truckloads of 40 varietals of edible squashes and pumpkins, saturday night movies like "the Dark Crystal" & "Goonies" & sleepovers in the patch w/ u-pick berry waffle breakfast. I'll have my Jam Stand up at their Annual Art on the Farm mini craft faire Saturday October 29th 11-4pm w/ live bands starting around 4pm. This year the farm will be Co-hosting a Pumpkin Party Benefit for Jacob's Heart Sunday October 30th 11-4pm, with face painting games for kids, costume contest, hayrides & more! I'll be sampling many of my fresh jams, marmalades, fruit butters & chutneys too! It will be lots of fun, a portion of sales for the day going to Children's Cancer Support so please come out and join us on the farm & help support an amazing organization.
